T·YARN reclaims the high quality material that can be gained out of T-shirt-waste and upgrades the textiles that can be crafted out of this material through techniques such as industrial weaving and knitting.
T·YARN also designs tools and information materials, such as rope-machines, 3D printed connectors and DIY manuals. This way, the project invites the common ground to understand the value of old garment-waste and offer a playful, interactive approach to up-cycling this material.
