Textiledesign and architecture have always had a very important relationship.

Inspired by the unconventional approach of the architect Frank Gehry, this project investigates to what extent his design principles can be applied to textiles in relation to space. The floor plans, perspectives, light, materials, form and color scheme were decisive for this project. It  resulted in mock-ups made of felt and grid elements, in which the design principles were translated.

This project marks the beginning of my interest in parametric design and adaptive materials. Although it was completely designed in an analogue environment, the design remains variable in its parameters and therefore flexible. It can be adapted to the surroundings and its specific needs.
